Cincinnati Bar Executive Director to Discuss ‘Careers in the Law’

(LegalLaw247.com, August 25, 2012 ) CINCINNATI, Ohio -- WXIX-TV, FOX 19 welcomes all those considering a career in the law to call this Monday, August 27, 2012, when the successful legal call-in show Moore Law discusses “Careers in the Law.” This is not just about being a lawyer, but those interested in being a paralegal, court reporter, or one of the many jobs present in every court house, can call with questions. Cincinnati Bar Association Executive Director John C. Norwine will join host and local TV journalist Deb Haas and attorney co-host Don Moore to answer viewer questions about continuing legal education (CLE) training, mentoring programs and other resources for new lawyers during the live telecast, Monday at 9:30 a.m.

“This program will provide a valuable opportunity for viewers to gain real insight from two of the best legal minds in the area,” said Matt Miller, News Director for WXIX-TV, FOX 19. “It should give hopeful attorneys a solid idea of what to expect in this profession.”

Viewers who are unable to call can also submit questions to be answered during the show’s “Moore Law Connection” segment. Don’s son, Cincinnati personal injury lawyer Dan Moore, answers selected questions submitted via Twitter, Facebook and the “Send Us Your Questions” form located on both the Moore Law section of the FOX 19 website and the show blog.

“The Cincinnati Bar Association has been an invaluable resource for people in this area for 140 years,” Don said. “John is recognized across the country as a most accomplished director. He knows our legal community better than anyone. This will be a great show!”

Moore Law is a weekly program that airs live every Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. on WXIX-TV, FOX 19. The show addresses a different legal topic every episode and Moore and guest attorneys answer questions from callers.
