BGS Attorneys to Deliver Presentation at CLE

(LegalLaw247.com, August 08, 2013 ) Minneapolis, MN -- BGS attorneys Joan Quade and Karen Kurth are scheduled to present at the Anoka County Bar Association’s upcoming seminar called “Navigating Recent Changes to the Minnesota Rules of Civil Procedure and General Rules of Practice.” This luncheon event will take place on Thursday, August 15th from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm.

The attorneys will present a power point presentation on the additions and changes to the rules with a focus on the extensive changes to the discovery rules. This will include changes to rules governing disclosures and rules for discovery sanctions. Also covered in the presentation will be an exploration of changes to General Rules of Practice including significant changes to rules governing non-dispositive motion practice.

Joan Quade is a Shareholder and Practice Group Leader for BGS’ Commercial Litigation and Employment law section. She has more than 20 years experience negotiating and/or litigating solutions to problems for businesses or for individuals.

Karen Kurth is a Shareholder in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Employment law section with more than ten years experience representing clients involved in business, employment and estate matters.

This seminar is a basic-to-intermediate level continuing legal education course worth one credit. The cost of the program is $10.00 which includes the application for one CLE credit and a box lunch.
