Ice Sphere Tech In The News

(LegalLaw247.com, March 16, 2014 ) Uxbridge, MA -- When on a routine check for counterfeit sellers Russell Card of Ice Sphere Tech, a company that sells unique kitchen gadgets, discovered counterfeit listings from a seller on his trademarked products. After attempting to remedy the infringement by contacting the seller and receiving no response, he proceeded to remedy the problem through Amazon.

Amazon suggested a test buy before reporting the infringement, which Ice Sphere Tech did and confirmed that it was not the same product and the quality was significantly low. The counterfeit cool kitchen gadgets seller continued to interfere with the real kitchen essentials listings, first by editing a product page and adding variations that did not exist.

The next day, the ASIN number was changed, effectively removing Ice Sphere Tech from their own listing and turning control of the new kitchen gadgets page over to the counterfeit seller. Ice Sphere Tech soon regained control of their best kitchen gadgets listing but the changes from the counterfeiter remained. The hijacker was reported and the test buy presented as proof and the page was reverted back to the original.

The next day Ice Sphere Tech, the original kitchen tools company, discovered they had been reported as the counterfeit version of the Amazon kitchen gadget stores. They responded by providing legal documents including their trademark registry as proof of ownership. After contacting Amazon, their essential kitchen tools listing was restored to them within twelve hours, but that was not the end of the story.

Two days after being removed, the counterfeiter had again been listed on the product page. After filling out the infringement report over two dozen times in a circuitous path in which Ice Sphere Tech lost many orders and the counterfeiter continued to be allowed to sell the fake kitchen gadgets on the real kitchen tools page, what is left without involving a lawyer?
