Two football coaches of Titusville High School were arrested on federal drug charges with the charges of the conspiracy to distribute and the possession with intent to distribute. They were also accused of being the heads of an illegal drug ring in Brevard County. Amongst the drugs being sold were marijuana, cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl. Despite the defendants saying they were selling oxycodone, officials learned that they were selling fentanyl instead. This dangerous synthetic drug can be a real threat to the community in Brevard County. Luckily, the arrest of these individuals has stopped the threat of the spread of this drug into the community. Despite not being charged for selling these illegal drugs to minors, their sale of drugs was still a threat to the community. Because the two who were arrested were so close to the community, they could have easily began to sell drugs to minors. By removing the threat, the community and high school students will remain safe against drug use.The arrest of these two allows the community to flourish without drug use.
