Air and Coast Guard to conduct Lake Ontario drone exercise – Syracuse Post-Standard

The Coast Guard's nearest air support is based in Detroit, said Lt. Nathaniel Johnson, chief of maritime law enforcement. Search and rescue operations from Oswego use planes and helicopters of any nearby agency, including Canada, he said.
