San Diego Attorney Participates in ‘Bike the Bay’ Fundraiser

(LegalLaw247.com, August 24, 2012 ) San Diego, CA -- Attorney Frederick M. Dudek of the Dudek Law Firm, APC, is participating in the 5th Annual Bike the Bay community bike ride around the San Diego Bay on August 26. The social ride is an annual fundraiser to contribute to the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition (SDCBC). The ride begins and ends at Embarcadero Marine Park South in San Diego. The riders will embark on a scenic 25-mile ride along the Bayshore Bikeway. Riders and friends will enjoy a post-ride festival complete with food, beverages and live entertainment at the park. This will be Dudek’s fifth consecutive year riding in the event – he has participated in the ride every year since its inception.

The San Diego County Bicycle Coalition is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the cycling community in San Diego through educational programs, promotion of bicycle awareness and cycling issues, reviewing infrastructure improvements and acting as a voice for local cyclists to elected officials and decision makers in San Diego.

“The San Diego County Bicycle Coalition’s annual ‘Bike the Bay’ event is a wonderful way to help fund the Coalition’s hard work on behalf of all San Diego cyclists,” said Dudek. “It is also a fun ride for people of all ages and abilities. It includes the rare treat of crossing the Coronado Bridge on a bicycle, with beautiful views of downtown San Diego.”

As an avid cyclist, Dudek is eager to support the SDCBC. Dudek is also a proud participant the Blind Stokers Club, which matches blind cyclists with sighted cyclists on a tandem bicycle. The Blind Stokers Club organizes monthly rides year round and a three-day, 200-mile fundraising event in July. Dudek has been representing injured cyclists and their families in Southern California for decades.
