This year marks the 10th anniversary of the charity function. Twin City Santa is an annual Winston-Salem event which began in 2003.
Miracle on 5th Street will take place on Friday, December 7th from 7pm until midnight at The Millennium Center in Downtown Winston-Salem’s Arts District.
The goal of the event is to collect holiday toys to be donated to children in the Triad area through the Salvation Army’s toy drive.
Admission for Miracle on 5th Street is an event ticket plus a new, unwrapped toy with a value of at least $20.
Event tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Those who do not bring a toy will be charged an additional $20 at the door to be used to purchase additional toys.
According to their website, Winston-Salem’s Twin City Santa is a charitable organization that collects toys and raises money for the children of the Triad area during the holiday season. The Miracle on 5th Street Christmas party in Winston-Salem is the marquee event for the organization’s efforts.
