Liz Nohren Announces Candidacy for Shelby County Illinois Resident Circuit Court Judge

(LegalLaw247.com, December 23, 2011 ) Shelbyville, IL -- Liz Nohren has announced her intention to run for Shelby County Resident Circuit Judge. The general election will take place in November 2012.

Mrs. Nohren is married to Jeffrey L. Nohren and they have two sons, William and Benjamin. The family resides in Shelbyville, Illinois. Liz Nohren is an attorney with Dove & Dove in Shelbyville and has a general practice at the firm. Liz and her husband Jeff were both born and raised in Shelby County and are fifth generation Shelby County residents. They are members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Liz received her undergraduate degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois, after completing her first year at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Her law degree comes from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. She also studied at Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago.

Mrs. Nohrens experience includes clerking for the Chief Judge of the Chancery Division in Cook County, Illinois, working as an associate attorney with Field & Golan n/k/a Golan & Christie in Chicago, Illinois, and then working as a partner at Dove & Dove, Attorneys where she currently practices law. In 2010 Liz received the Illini Radio Groups Outstanding Women You Should Know award.
