New Jersey Employment Rights Lawyer Discusses Workers’ Compensation "Hand and Foot" Bill (S-676)

(LegalLaw247.com, December 16, 2011 ) Mount Laurel, NJ - Partners at Costello & Mains, P.C., Kevin M. Costello and Deborah L. Mains, congratulate the New Jersey Association for Justice (Kevin and Deborah are both members of its Board of Governors and Kevin is a member of its Executive Board) and the other supports of S-676, commonly called the "Hand and Foot" Bill. The Bill passed the assembly on Monday, December 5, 2011 and is now on Governor Christie's desk.

The Hand and Foot Bill significantly expands and clarifies the rights of New Jersey workers who are injured on the job and who suffer injuries to the extremities. The need for this bill was long in coming and Kevin and Deborah, who are workers rights attorneys, fully support the bill and urge the Governor to sign it.

"We're very pleased with our New Jersey Association for Justice and with all of the reasonably inclined supporters of this bill, which is after all, for the benefit of working families in this state," says Deborah L. Mains. "Our firm is proud to support the bill, proud to support worker's rights, and proud to support working New Jersey families. We congratulate our New Jersey Association for Justice and its leadership and we also congratulate the legislators on both sides of the aisle who saw the need for this measure."
