Gordon and Doner Accepting New School Supplies for Urban Youth Impact Drive

(LegalLaw247.com, July 24, 2012 ) WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – West Palm Beach personal injury law firm, Gordon and Doner, is collecting school supplies for the Urban Youth Impact’s annual Back 2 School Blast school supply drive.

The personal injury law firm is asking for donations of new school supplies at their Palm Beach Gardens and Stuart office locations. Donations are being accepted via a collection desk at the reception desk at both locations.

According to the organization’s website, the Back 2 School Blast fulfills Urban Youth Impact’s mission to love, equip and empower inner-city youth by providing resources to ensure that children are starting the year off on more equal footing with their peers. By providing everything from pencils to physicals, Urban Youth Impact minimizes inequities many from the inner-city feel so they can focus on what is most important – learning.

Last year, with the help of over 150 volunteers, Urban Youth Impact was able to provide 400 backpacks filled with school supplies, 30 school physicals, 55 haircuts, lunch and fresh produce to children and families living in West Palm Beach’s inner city. They hope that this year will have even greater results given the increased need in the area from a bad economy.

The deadline for donations at Gordon and Doner offices is July 31.

To donate money to the school supply drive, please make checks payable to Urban Youth Impact.
