President Obama wants Healthcare sector politics free reports 2HealthInsurance.net

(LegalLaw247.com, August 17, 2012 ) San Francisco, CA - With presidential elections coming up, contenders have already begun to speak more frequently about health and its benefits, which at this time, is one of the biggest problems in the U.S.

The federal government’s failure in health sector is due to lack of administrative support and no one seems to challenge it strongly. Earlier this week, President Obama attempted to defend his administration’s policies towards the problem.

Speaking publicly in Colorado on Wednesday, August 8, President Obama stated that:

“Now, let me tell you something, Denver — I don’t think your boss should get to control the health care that you get. I don’t think insurance companies should control the care that you get. I don’t think politicians should control the care that you get. I think there’s one person to make these decisions on health care, and that is you. You should make that decision.”

According to Washingtonexaminer.com, it was an astonishing statement by a man who has a record of opposing policies that would empower individuals and support reforms that would nullify individual preference.

Under the current system, most of the Americans get medical coverage through their employers which make them vulnerable to their bosses. Kaiser Family Foundation reports that employers have a great control over the type of care plan they offer to their employees.

Former presidential candidate Sen. John McCain believed the individuals should be allowed to purchase whatever coverage they wanted and the employers should be responsible for the payment. Counteracting, Obama rejected the idea by saying that the reform will only result in massive tax increases.

However, after seeing his plans fail right in front of his own eyes, Obama has now decided to introduce some changes to his policies.

The President further added that people should be allowed to spend their own money on health care by creating health saving accounts thereby; taking power away from insurance agencies.
