The injury victim, 25-year-old David Weiler, was struck by a car in Stratford which left him in critical condition. He is now undergoing rehabilitation and physical therapy.

The woman charged with hitting Weiler left the scene of the crash and was later identified as Courtney Holifield from a witness’s description of her vehicle, including the marker plate.

Holifield, 35, was charged with evading responsibility, assault and making an improper turn.
