Real Life Sleeping Beauties in Ukraine Art Exhibit reports PsychicLiving

(LegalLaw247.com, October 26, 2012 ) San Francisco, CA -- The exhibit has the women lie in a bed having given a pledge to marry the visitor who wakes her with a kiss. Each woman takes to the bed for two hours a day under dim lights, where she supposedly awaits her true love to wake them with a kiss.

Any unmarried visitor may attempt to win the beauties over with a kiss. After three weeks, only one visitor has succeeded in the endeavor, and the beauty might have been a bit surprised to find her prince was a princess.

The marriage pledge signed by visitors is not binding, and the exhibit is truly more an artistic piece than a true attempt to cultivate love. However, there is still a level of anticipation and interest in the possibility.

Liza, who is one of the beauties, did not dare to open her eyes for any kisses. She now says she regrets the decision.

"It turns out that for a person who is used to being more rational, because most people perceive the world visually - it's hard to trust your feelings and follow your impulses," said Liza.

While most have been respectful with their kisses, there have been a few peculiar moments. One man left Liza a new iPad along with $400, and an email address for the purpose of purchasing a ticket.

Most are not so serious when taking the vow and giving love a chance. Visitors like Anna Prisianzhnyuk, who said, No, I didn't fall in love. I wanted to take part in interactive art."

Polataiko says his goal of the exhibit is to recreate the famous fairy tale; however, some speculate there may be political undertones through metaphor.
