Major Toyota Recall Warns Mike Lewis Attorneys

(LegalLaw247.com, January 31, 2013 ) WINSTON-SALEM, NC - An error in calibration of the airbag sensors in the front seat passengers may cause the airbag to deploy unexpectedly or even fail to deploy in the event of a motor vehicle collision. As such, Toyota vehicle owners must not delay in contacting Toyota to see if their vehicle falls under those being recalled. No Scion or Lexus models have been affected by the recall.

The National Traffic Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) has stated that Toyota must recall a massive number of their vehicles due to malfunctioning airbag sensors. As a serious threat to those North Carolina drivers who own or operate Toyota vehicles, the NHTSA has issued an immediate recall of 3,235 cars to date.

The following vehicles are being recalled: the 2010-2013 Corolla, Sienna and Tundra, the 2010-2012 Sequoia, the 2009-2012 Tacoma, 4Runner, Camry, Camry Hybrid, Prius and RAV4, the 2012 Prius V, the 2009-2010 Avalon, FJ Cruiser and Highlander Hybrid, and the 2009-2013 Highlander and Venza. If you own any of the above vehicles, please contact either Toyota directly or the Southeast Toyota Distributors.
