Toddler Dies in Florida Daycare Reports Gordon & Doner

(LegalLaw247.com, March 28, 2013 ) OCALA, FL – On March 23rd emergency crews responded to an emergency call from a local daycare, the reason, a toddler reportedly fell off a chair knocking himself unconscious.

Deputies are now investigating the Marion County daycare as it was unlicensed to operate during the time of this event. The operator of the daycare has applied for a license in the past, however she was denied due to her husband failing to pass a background check.

When the emergency crew arrived to the daycare the toddler was still breathing and flown to a nearby Gainesville Hospital. Here the toddler was pronounced brain dead which would lead to his cause of death a few days later.

Reports by the medical staff show that the injuries on the toddler did not match up with the story provided by the daycare supervisor.
