Digital Inclusion Conference Just One Week Away

Austin, TX – The state’s top technology minds are getting ready to converge on the University of Texas at Austin. Next week’s Digital Inclusion in Texas Conference and Colloquium is a day-and-a-half event designed to bring together community leaders, broadband providers, and anyone else interested in making sure every Texan has access to the life-changing benefits of technology and knows how to use the limitless resources it provides.

Connected Texas is co-hosting the event which takes place April 26-27 on the UT Austin campus. Registration is available online along with a list of the event’s impressive list of scheduled speakers and a downloadable agenda. The $50 registration fee includes coffee and lunch both days and a reception on Friday.

Connected Texas Executive Director Don Shirley will be presenting on the topic of collaborating to achieve digital literacy for Texas as well as offering both opening and closing remarks at the event. Other summit sponsors include Texas Connects Coalition, The Technology and Public Policy Program at the LBJ School of Public Affairs - UT Austin, and the Telecommunications and Information Policy Institute, UT Austin.
