43 Car Pileup Caused By Faulty Brakes and Bad Driving Record Reports Greg Monforton & Partners

(LegalLaw247.com, May 03, 2013 ) Detroit, MI – In January of 2012, there was a 43 car pileup on Interstate 75 in Detroit after a semi-truck collided with a family from Windsor driving a Mazda 6.

At the time of the collision there was heavy snowfall, which created a chain reaction due to the reduced visibility and stopping time associated with driving in adverse weather conditions.

Recent reports by Greg Monforton & Partners show that the driver of the truck, whom caused the accident, has a poor driving record including five separate road violations in the state of Michigan. Additionally, the truck he was driving only had only four of the eight sets of brakes working at the time of the accident.

During a news conference held on Tuesday morning, Greg Monforton stated “All the information at our disposal at this point in time leads us to conclude that (this accident) was avoidable. It was preventable. And it was entirely needless.”

At Greg Monforton & Partners, our Windsor car accident attorneys believe that if you or a family member have been injured or killed in an automobile accident, the victim or family of the victim may be entitled to compensation for their losses and damages.
