Click It or Ticket this Memorial Day Weekend Warns Arnold Law Firm

(LegalLaw247.com, May 24, 2013 ) SACRAMENTO, CA – “Click It or Ticket”, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s most successful campaign for seat belt enforcement, gets a boost this week during what is called the ‘May Mobilization’.

The event, lasting from Monday, May 20 to Sunday, June 2, is a national initiative for law enforcement officials to band together and ticket drivers who refuse to wear a seat belt from “coast to coast, day or night”. The campaign is particularly concerned with males aged 18 – 34, as this demographic is least likely to wear a safety belt, the most effective auto safety feature ever invented.

The NHTSA advertises the crackdown through local and national outlets to raise awareness in the days leading up to the “enforcement blitz”.

As the holiday weekend approaches, individuals in Sacramento and across the country are preparing to celebrate our fallen veterans and welcome summer. While barbecues and pool parties unfold in American backyards, Arnold Law Firm warns the residents of Sacramento County that local police will be on the prowl for drivers who neglect to wear their seat belt. Be safe this Memorial Day Weekend and buckle up – and get a designated driver if you plan on drinking.
