(LegalLaw247.com, June 05, 2013 ) Knoxville, TN – An elderly man rear-ended a car driving on US 25/70 on Monday, killing a six year old boy and a 62 year old man.

The driver of the vehicle, which was struck, said she was turning from the highway onto a private drive where she was struck by an 83 year old man. This collision sent the woman’s car into a large tree killing the two individuals. Neighbors recall how precious the little boy was and how he loved everybody and everybody loved him.

Across the nation, there are nearly 2.5 million rear-end accidents that occur every year. These accidents are arguably one of the most common types of crashes throughout the United States to this day. In this case, the elderly man may have been speeding in combination with the slower reaction time of older drivers, thus causeing this unfortunate accident.
