(LegalLaw247.com, June 13, 2013 ) EAST HARTFORD, CT – Stephanie Jones, a former assistant manager at a group home for adults with developmental disabilities, was arrested on Tuesday after police found video recordings of staff abusing residents during a search of her home. She was charged with two accounts of inciting injury to persons and released on two $25,000 bonds.

This is the second arrest in connection with the elder abuse investigation at the group home, which is managed by Options Unlimited, Inc. In July, another employee, Angelica Rivera, was captured on video assaulting a resident and was arrested as a result.

The experienced legal team at Jonathan Perkins Injury Lawyers believes that the elderly, especially those with special needs, deserve to be treated with dignity, care, and respect. They offer free consultations to those who have been injured by abuse while at a group home or nursing facility.
