The 12-hour traffic safety initiative will begin around 3 p.m. on Saturday and will end with several DUI checkpoints at undisclosed locations throughout the city. Officials reported that anyone caught drinking and driving will be taken to jail.

These efforts are in coordination with the nationwide “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign. This campaign will be lasting from mid-August through Labor Day across the nation’s roadways.
