Recently, a Florida man was killed in an accident in Coral Springs after his son lost control of the vehicle while driving and flipped the car. The son was driving north along the 2700 block of University Drive when he drifted into the median resulting in the car to flip over it, according to Coral Springs police spokeswoman Sgt. Carla Kmiotek. Authorities pronounced the father, who was in the passenger seat at the time of the accident, dead at the scene. Emergency officials took the son to Broward Health North with non-life-threatening injuries. Currently, investigators on the case do not believe the crash was alcohol-related.
