Ed Bernstein Sponsors Team Challenge in the Las Vegas Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon

(LegalLaw247.com, November 17, 2014 ) Las Vegas, NV -- Edward Bernstein and his daughter Dana are once again proud sponsors of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon in benefit of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America. The event begins on November 14th and goes through November 16th , but the actual race starts on Saturday Nov 15 at 6pm and is run on the Las Vegas strip.

Dana Bernstein is a 24 year old who says she “can’t remember life without digestive disease”. She has been in and out of the hospital since the age of three, and has missed out on many traditional milestones in a girl’s life due to surgeries and recovery. Just being diagnosed the painful disease would be enough to make some people want to hide out and give up, but this strong young lady is using her situation to inspire others with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, different but similar types of inflammatory bowel diseases, are chronic inflammatory diseases that affect the GI tract; usually focusing on the intestines and colon. As many as 700,000 people in America might be effected by this disease, but awareness of it is surprisingly low.

Dana and Edward Bernstein support Team Challenge in the Rock ‘n’ Roll marathon in order to help raise funds for research and awareness of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Edward Bernstein has been in the business of helping the injured for over 34 years, and now his daughter is joining him on his mission to give strength and support to the people of Nevada.
