At the time of the wreck, the gentleman was a student at IUPUI and was in the prime of his life, but unfortunately the impact of crash has left him permanently injured. He sustained injuries in various parts of his body, including his head, brain, lungs and ribs.

He and several other passengers have alleged that negligence occurred on the part of the company that owns Megabus, which is why they have all decided to file lawsuits against the company. Somewhere around 55 passengers were boarded on the bus when the crash happened, and 18 of those were taken to nearby hospitals.

According to reports, rain had caused the roads become incredibly slick, which cause the bus to hit some barriers, crash into another vehicle and then overturn. In addition, the windshield wipers were not working properly before the accident took place, which was a big part of what caused it.
