Participants are welcome to transform themselves into “Queens” of whatever they choose!
The planned schedule is as follows:
Thursday a “Fondren After Five” party will be held as a meet-and-greet for all queens. It’s the kickoff for the weekend to come.
Friday starts with the Big Hat Luncheon and ends with the Electro-Dash 5k.
Saturday: Many festivities, including Run With The Bulls, Kids Carnival, Eating Contests, and a Honda Giveaway will be taking place. The Zippity Doo Dah will officially begin at dusk. The night will end back at the Hilton for the PJs & Pearls party, along with karaoke.
Sunday will be the last day of events, finishing off with Bathrobe Brunch.
All zany events of the festival will be benefitting Friends of Children’s Hospital and Batson Children’s Hospital. This is known as the only hospital located in Mississippi where any child can receive treatment, even if they are unable to provide payment for the services they need.
