Advocate for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment Retires, Cincinnati Drug Rehab Responds

(LegalLaw247.com, February 02, 2016 ) Cincinnati, OH -- Fairborn Daily Herald reports that a renowned doctor in the mental health and addiction recovery communities has retired from his position as CEO of the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Clark, Greene, and Madison counties. Dr. Kent Youngman retired at the end of 2015 after 32 years of service throughout the tri-state area, including attempting to remedy the increased heroin abuse across the state and pushing for addiction to be treated as a public health issue instead of a law enforcement problem. Dr. Youngman, who began his career as a juvenile probation officer, worked to bring together 20 groups and organizations across the tri-state area with the intent of bringing relief to as many people as possible.

Cincinnati Drug Rehab, a facility also dedicated to addiction treatment in Cincinnati and across the U.S., commends the career accomplishments of Dr. Youngman. With beliefs aligning with Dr. Youngman, the rehabilitation center is appreciative of the doctor's efforts to end the stigmas against people with substance abuse disorders and mental health issues.
